  • MOST solution deployment marks the launch of onboard retail by Kore Air Services
  • Fleet-wide deployment of the MOST solution has taken place for Air Malta
  • MOST technology allows crew members to process onboard transactions and also allows Kore Air Services a transparent overview of program operations

May 10, 2022 – Dublin, IE and Valletta, MT: Kore Air Services, providers of onboard retail services for Air Malta have selected MOST, makers of technology for a world on the move, to supply an inflight retail and onboard payments solution as part of their service. MOST has deployed its software and payment peripheral hardware to Kore Air Services who utilise the solution across the entire Air Malta fleet in support of their provision of onboard retail services.

Kore Air Services have been utilising the MOST technology onboard Air Malta since the 01st of February 2023 when they were awarded responsibility to provide onboard retail services for the airline. With an extensive product selection and wide variety of flight durations, the MOST products ensure a robust and reliable onboard service enabling passengers to make payments using chip & pin and contactless/NFC whilst also ensuring the cabin crew have sufficient time to perform all of their duties during a busy service.

As part of the agreement, MOST provides payment hardware, a mobile printer and Android mobile devices running the most.Retail sales application and most.Pay payment gateway software.

“MOST are proud to partner with Kore Air Services for their first implementation of an onboard retail program for an airline. We are also delighted to have provided our solutions to an onboard retail provider for the first time. Together with Kore Air Services and Air Malta, we are supporting both parties to ensure a smooth transition and a reliable, stable solution to serve passengers” said MOST CCO James Kelly.

“During the past number of months, we have been working very closely with MOST to ensure the implementation and successful launch of our onboard retail service for Air Malta. The MOST platform will be essential for us to ensure the ongoing success of the retail program and also to provide an insight into day to day operations so we can ensure we best serve our partner airline” said Joel Cachia, Chief Financial Officer at Kore Air Services.
