Universal Air Chooses MOST for Onboard Retail Launch

March 06, 2025 – Dublin, IE and Valletta, MT: Universal Air, a Maltese airline based in Valletta, has selected MOST, makers of innovative technology for a world on the move, to supply an inflight retail and onboard payments solution as part of their service. MOST has deployed its software and payment peripheral hardware across the entire Universal Air fleet in support of their onboard retail services.

Universal Air has been using MOST technology on their flights since they launched onboard retail as part of the wider airline launch. With an extensive product selection and a variety of flight durations, MOST’s solutions ensure a robust and reliable onboard service, enabling passengers to make payments using chip & pin and contactless/NFC, while also allowing cabin crew to manage their duties during a busy service.

As part of the agreement, MOST provides payment hardware and Apple iPads running the MOST sales application and payment gateway software.
