Condor Deploys Most Inflight End-to-End Retail System

Dublin, Ireland
MOST, the aviation retail technology company and German carrier Condor Airlines have launched a new inflight retail platform that delivers operational improvements. Since going live, Condor has seen a significant drop in payment decline rates and an improvement in deferred authorization success, now exceeding 99.9%.
The rollout was completed without the need for crew training. The intuitive iPad-based application was adopted instantly by Condor’s inflight teams, streamlining their onboard service from the very first flight. Behind the scenes, the platform is deeply embedded into Condor’s operational infrastructure, including crew rostering, flight scheduling, SAP financial systems, and the airline’s enterprise data lake.
MOST delivered a full end-to-end solution. Condor was equipped with customized branded payment devices, a proprietary payment gateway built specifically for airline environments, and a fully integrated inventory management system. The point-of-sale application, deployed on Apple iPads, connects directly to a modern back office that provides live reporting, reconciliation, and operational control, all in real time.
“We weren’t just looking for a payment tool, we needed a platform that connects the entire inflight retail operation,” said Meike Christian, Head of Travel Retail. “MOST delivered exactly that. The results are visible immediately: transaction declines are down, our crew love using the system, and Tap to Pay has been a true game changer onboard.”
MOST CEO, Jan Blanchard added, “This is our most integrated and operationally impactful product to date. Condor gave us a clear mandate to solve real problems, not just improve the front-end, but to build deep connectivity and long-term value. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together.”
